SUNDAY'S MEN'S LACROSSE GAME WITH MERCYHURST MOVED TO CARRIER DOME AT 6:30 PM.
SYRACUSE, NY - Due to weather and travel concerns, the men's lacrosse game scheduled with Mercyhurst on Sunday, March 9th has been moved to the Carrier Dome for a 6:30 PM face-off. The game was previously scheduled for a 1:00 PM start at West Genesee High School.
A rematch of the 2007 Division II National Championship game, Le Moyne will square off with Mercyhurst for the second time in three games dating back to last season. The last season's championship game, the Dolphins captured the program's third national championship with a 6-5 decision.
Le Moyne enters the game atop the USILA polls and with a 1-0 record following a 8-2 victory over #5 Dowling last weekend. Mercyhurst enters the game ranked sixth in the recent polls with a 2-1 record following a 7-6 overtime loss to Wingate last Saturday.
Le Moyne is 4-0 all-time against the Lakers.
Le Moyne will follow a Syracuse Orange lacrosse doubleheader on
Sunday. The SU women will square off against Hofstra at noon.
The SU men will follow at 3:30 PM as they take on Georgetown.
Le Moyne / Mercyhurst will wrap up the day at 6:30 PM.
