LE MOYNE TRAVELS TO SAINT ROSE FOR NE-10 SHOW DOWN TELEVISED ACROSS THE STATE ON TIME WARNER SPORTS.


SYRACUSE, NY - The Le Moyne College basketball teams travel to Saint Rose on Tuesday to face the Golden Knights. The NE-10 doubleheader will be broadcast across New York State on Time Warner Sports. The women's game is scheduled for 5:30 PM  at Nolan Gymnasium followed by the men's game at 7:30 PM.

Winners of five of their last six games, the women’s basketball team currently ranks 7th in the NE-10 with a 13-10 record, 10-8 in conference action. Led by the NE-10 Player of the Week Vanessa Holden, the Dolphins look to avenge an early season loss the Golden Knights (14-8, 9-8) at home. Le Moyne is led offensively by Courtney Coryea (13.6 points), whose sister Rachel plays at Saint Rose. The Dolphins will also showcase their pink uniforms for the first time this season. For the second consecutive season, Jeanne Murphy's squad will be outfitted in pink uniforms to raise awareness for breast cancer. The team will also wear pink in their final home game on Saturday, November 14th against St. Anselm.

Named conference player of the week for the sixth time this week, junior Laurence Ekperigin 

 

leads the Dolphins (13-10, 9-9 NE-10) to Saint Rose on a four game winning streak. Le Moyne looks to sweep their in-state rival after defeating the Golden Knights (11-11, 9-8) 67-57 in November.

The broadcast, which will originate on Channel 3 in Albany, will also  be available in Syracuse on Time Warner Sports 26. Doug Sherman will handle the play-by-play while former Saint Rose All-American Roger Powers will provide color analysis.  In addition to the television broadcast, Le Moyne’s Chris Granozio 

’86 and Don Familo ’86 will call the men’s action courtside on ESPN Radio 1260.
