MEN'S BASKETBALL PARTICIPATES IN 2008 SYRACUSE HEARTWALK.
SYRACUSE, NY - The Le Moyne College men's basketball team took part in the 24th annual Syracuse Heartwalk on Saturday, April 19th. The team joined over 7,000 community members in raising awareness and over $650,000 for the American Heart Association.
"Everyone on the team knows someone affected by heart disease or stroke," said Head Coach Steve Evans. "For those we love, we decided at the beginning of the school year to pledge money for every three pointer we made during this past season."
During the 2007-08 season, the Dolphins connected for 165 three-pointers. Seniors Jonathan Joshua and Jason Holmes led the way with 65 and 50 trifectas.
