CHIDSEY SET POOL RECORD IN 200 IM; MEN & WOMEN SWIM PAST ST. LAWRENCE
SYRACUSE, NY - Le Moyne junior Ricky Chidsey set a Le Moyne pool record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.95 as the men and women defeated St. Lawrence on Saturday. Le Moyne captured first place in all but five events of the 37 event meet.
The women defeated St. Lawrence 150-69 as Genevieve Suite recorded victoried in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Meghan Nugent, Allison Lesher, Shelly McNamee, Nicole Murphy, Kayla Ehle and Erin Rappold all recorded victories on the day. With the win, the Dolphins improve their team record to 7-0.
The men won their fifth meet of the season as they defeated St. Lawrence 126-91. Ryan Lowrie, Ricky Chidsey and Jerry Dumary each won two events as the Dolhins move to 5-2 on the season.
Le Moyne will not return to the pool until Novemer 30th when they travel to complete in the Northeast 10 Confernce Championships. The three-day meet wraps up on December 2nd with morning trials and afternoon finals.
