ANTHONY VISKOVICH NAMED NE-10 MEN'S GOLF FRESHMAN OF THE
WEEK
South Easton, Mass. - Le Moyne College freshman Anthony
Viskovich (Massena, N.Y./Massena) has been honored as the
men's golf freshman of the week by the Northeast-10 Conference, as
announced by the conference office on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Viskovich, selected as the men's golf freshman of the week for the
first time, was honored for his eighth-place finish at the 2008
ECAC Division II Championships on Sunday and Monday. Viskovich
fired an opening-round 75 on Sunday and carded a second-round 77 on
Monday to finish at 152 and lead the Dolphins to a tie for fourth
place in the team standings.
Le Moyne returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 28 and Monday, Sept.
29 at the Northeast-10 Championships, hosted by American
International at Vesper Country Club.
