VISKOVICH PLACES 11TH AT GOLDEY-BEACOM GOLF INVITATIONAL

Avondale, Pa. - Freshman Anthony Viskovich (Massena, N.Y./Massena) shot a two-day score of 151 to lead the Le Moyne College men's golf team to a ninth-place finish at the Goldey-Beacom Fall Invite at the Inniscrone Golf Club in Avondale, Pa. Adelphi won the team competition with a 36-hole scre of 595, while American International's Garrett Beyor earned medalist honors with a 142 (69-73).

Viskovich opened the invite with a 75 in the first round and registered a 76 on day two to finish in 11th place. Junior Tim Martins (Cortland, N.Y./Cortland) recorded a 156 on rounds of 79 and 77 for finish in a tie for 17th place. Sophomore Andrew Lloyd (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) carded rounds of 76 and 84 to finish tied for 32nd with a score of 160, while Chris Sova (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) shot a 161 to tie for 38th. Brian Tischler (Westlake, Ohio/St. Ignatius) registered a tie for 47th at 165 (85-80) and Kevin Jackson (Chittenango, N.Y./Chittanengo) placed in a tie for 52nd at 169 (89-80) to round out Le Moyne's competitors.

Le Moyne returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 14 and Monday, Sept. 15 at Long Island National for the Dowling Invitational.
