TESORI PICKS UP PING ALL-REGION HONORS AFTER SUCCESSFUL SEASON ON THE LINKS

NORMAN, Okla. - After a career that concluded with a 31st place finish at the Division II NCAA Super Regionals, Joe Tesori was named to the Division II PING All-Region golf team for the Northeast. He joins a 10-member team selected by a Golf Coaches Association of America committee. Tesori paced Le Moyne's golf team throughout the fall and spring seasons and collected co-medalist honors at the Division II ECAC Golf Championship in September.

Tesori finished with a two-day score of 143 (+1) to finish in a tie for first at the 2007 ECAC Division II Golf Championship at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse. Le Moyne captured its first ECAC title at the September event. Tesori finished in a tie for second at the Oswego State Golf Invitational and seventh at the Southern New Hampshire Penmen Invitational during the fall season.

Tesori, along with Tim Martins, paced the Dolphins during the spring session. He was the top Le Moyne golfer at the Pace University Invitational with a tenth place finish in March. He tied for a 13th place finish at the AIC Invitational in April before earning a bid to the Division II NCAA Super Regionals in May. At Back Creek Golf Course in Middletown, Del., Tesori finished with a three-day score of 241 (+28).
