MCCARTHY POSTS TOP SCORE AT GOLDEY-BEACOM COLLEGE INVITATIONAL, DOLPHINS FINISH 11TH

Wilmington, DE - Junior Dan McCarthy (Syracuse, N.Y./CBA) shot a 5-over par 149 to place first at the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational at the Hartefeld National Golf Club in Wilmington, DE. Millersville University took the top team honors with a combined total of 625 (310-315). Le Moyne finished in 11^th place with a team score of 685 (346-339).

McCarthy finished the first round tied for ninth with a 79 and followed it up with an invitation-best round of 70 in the second round. Mike Tobiason of Goldey-Beacom, Chris Kaspar of Millersville, and Tom Ellison of the University of Delaware all posted scores of 75 to top the leader board after the first round.
