GOLF: BRIAN MUENCH NAMED NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
SOUTH EASTON, MASS.
- Le Moyne College freshman Brian Muench (Fairport,
N.Y./Fairport) has been named the co-Northeast-10
Conference Freshman of the Week. Muench topped the Dolphins with an
eighth-place finish at the ECAC Division II Men's Golf
Championship.
Muench shot a two day, seven-over par 147 (73-74) in the two-day
event at the Liverpool Golf & Public Country Club. His score
was six strokes off the top score. Le Moyne teamed for an
eighth-place finish at the event with a team score of 608
(311-297).
Muench has been among five Le Moyne competitors at every event
this season. He has averaged a 78.1 (+6) in the nine rounds of
golf.
Le Moyne travels to West Lafayette, Ohio for the 54-hole PowerAde
Invitational this weekend.
