Le Moyne College Gold Wave

Welcome to the Gold Wave!

Since 1982, The Gold Wave has been the organization that works tirelessly to secure the future of Le Moyne athletics. Each year the organization spearheads the athletic department's fund and friend-raising activities in an effort to enhance the experiences of each and every student-athlete. The organization is made up of dedicated individuals - alumni, friends, and families- who have a great interest in, and deep loyalty to, the values of intercollegiate athletics and the student-athletes who represent those values.

Over the years, Gold Wave volunteers have helped the college raise money by accepting donations and contributions, and by organizing a series of annual events. Funds generated through these efforts are used to create additional opportunities for our young people to pursue their academic and athletic dreams, primarily through scholarships and the development of safe and attractive facilities. Currently the Gold Wave has been working with us to secure funding for the Dynasty Initiative, a directed fund-raising effort focused on raising money for the construction of a new turf complex and for the enhancement of existing athletic facilities such as the Henninger Athletic Center.

In 2008, the Gold Wave announced their pledge of $125,000 toward the "Dynasty Initiative". The pledge is a statement of the type of impact that individuals, when acting together as a group, can have on the future of athletics here at Le Moyne.
