MARK KUZMA SIGNS PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT WITH WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS OF THE FRONTIER LEAGUE

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Recent graduate Mark Kuzma (Waverly, N.Y./Waverly) has signed a professional contract to play for the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League. The left-handed pitcher becomes the 61st player in the program's history to sign a professional baseball contract.

During his senior season, Kuzma posted a 6-3 overall record and a 1.83 ERA in 13 appearances. He registered 96 strikeouts in 88.1 innings of work, while holding the opponent to a .201 batting average. Kuzma's top performance this season came on the road at St. Michael's as the southpaw pitched a complete game four-hitter and struck out a career high 15 batters in an 8-1 victory on April 7th.
