SYRACUSE, NY - Le Moyne College head baseball coach Steve
Owens invites all coaches to the annual Youth Baseball Coaches
Clinic. Held on Sunday, December 14th from 9:00 AM to Noon is FREE of
charge and will focus on all aspects of teaching
baseball. The clinic will be held in the Henninger Athletic Center
and will cover hitting, defensive strategy, catching, base running,
throw and pitching mechanics, practice drills, demonstration and a
question and answer period.
The free clinic is directed by head coach Steve Owens who is entering his 10th season on the Heights. In nine seasons, Owens has the 8th highest winning percentage among all active Division I coaches in the country. In this time, he has led the Dolphins to more victories than any coach in a nine-year period in program history and has guided 24 players who have signed professional contracts.
Le Moyne opens their campaign on February 20th as they travel to face national power Tulane University for a four-game series.
