BEAULAC TO BE HONORED AT SYRACUSE CHIEFS HOT STOVE ON JANUARY 11TH

SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs have announced that junior right-hand pitcher Eric Beaulac will be honored as the Pre-Season College Player of the Year at the annual Hot Stove Dinner on January 11th at the Holiday Inn Liverpool.

In 2007, Beulac was 8-1 with a 2.94 ERA in 15 starts. He recorded 81 strike outs in 82.2 innings and was named second team All-Conference. Entering his junior season, Beaulac is currently third in program history with 8.73 strikeouts per nine innings.

The event will also include former Chiefs player and Manager and current Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox. Chiefs Manager Doug Davis, Milwaukee Brewers and former Le Moyne standout Scott Cassidy '98, Chiefs outfielder Wayne Lydon, former Red Sox pitching great Bill Monbouquette and others from the world of baseball.
