LE MOYNE FALLS TO BALL STATE 6-5 IN 10 INNINGS

MUNCIE, IN - Justin Rogers (St. Paris, Ohio) singled home the winning run as Ball State used a two-out rally in the bottom of the tenth inning to deal Le Moyne a 6-5 defeat. Le Moyne falls to 2-12, while Ball State improved to 7-10 on the season.  The Dolphins were lead by Corey O'Neill (Pittsford, N.Y./McQuaid Jesuit) as he delivered three hits, including his first home run of the season. Andy Parrino (Brockport, N.Y/ Brockport) continued his strong play connecting for three hits and driving in a run.  Junior Phil St. Amant (Brockport, N.Y./ Brockport) contributed with two hits and two RBI.

Le Moyne jumped out to a 5-2 lead and held a two run advantage into the eighth inning. Ball State rallied to score one run in the eighth and one in the ninth as first baseman Matt Stoeklen (Northglenn, Colo./Thorton) singled home the tying run.

Sophomore Eric Beaulac (Troy, N.Y./ Troy) started on the mound for eighth-year head coach Steve Owens. Beaulac threw five innings allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits.  Junior right-hander Adam Leduc (Beaconsfield, Quebec/ Loyola) took the loss in relief.

Le Moyne is back in action in the Ball State Tournament on Sunday as the Dolphins are set to take on Evansville at 11:00 am. Sophomore right-hander Brandon Otto (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) will take the ball and start for Le Moyne.
