LE MOYNE BASEBALL ROTATION ANNOUNCED FOR WEEKEND SERIES
AT CHARLOTTE
SYRACUSE,
N.Y. - After flying home from an eight-game trip
to Louisiana and Texas, the Le Moyne College baseball team hits the
road for a 12-hour trip to Rock Hill, S.C. for a four-game series
at Charlotte this weekend. Head coach Steve Owens has announced his
starting rotation for the Dolphins (2-6) this weekend.
Senior right-hander Bobby Blevins (Briarcliff, N.Y./Briarcliff), a member of the Brooks Wallace Watch List for the nation's top college player, will start Friday's nine-inning game. The career leader in wins with 24, Blevins is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 13 innings of action.
Sophomore righty Eric Beaulac
(Troy, N.Y./Troy) will
start game two, followed by freshman southpaw Michael
Gedman (Framingham,
Mass./Loomis Chaffee) and
sophomore righty Brandon Otto
(Cicero,
N.Y./Cicero-North
Syracuse).
First pitch of the series is set for Friday at 2 p.m. This
weekend's games will be played at Winthrop University in Rock Hill,
