Le Moyne Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) organized it's annual New Student-Athlete Orientation last night for all freshman and transfers on Wednesday, October 21st. SAAC members Damani Corbin (VP) and Siobhan Shields (Chair of Community Outreach) organized and ran the orientation. Peer mentors for the new student-athletes also attended and had the opportunity to meet their mentees face to face and discuss the upcoming year.

Syracuse, NY – Le Moyne College President Dr. Fred Pestello announced today the ground breaking for a multi-purpose turf field complex will be held on Tuesday, August 25th at 10:00 AM at the Niland Athletic Complex. A key component of Le Moyne’s Achieving New Heights capital campaign, the field will become home for four of College’s athletic programs – men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s lacrosse.

SOUTH EASTON, MA – The Northeast-10 Conference announced today the 2009 NE-10 Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll. In total, 2,619 student-athletes representing each of the NE-10’s 15 member institutions were included in this year’s list. Le Moyne College had 161 student-athletes recognized for their success in the classroom.

SYRACUSE, NY - On Thursday, July 9, Le Moyne College and the Salvation Army hosted a press conference in the Curtin Special Events Room in the Le Moyne Student Center. At that time, representatives from Le Moyne College, The Salvation Army’s Young Leaders Forum, and other partners announced the creation of a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to benefit Salvation Army emergency services for young people. This announcement falls on the 30th Anniversary of Booth House. The community event will take place on the campus of Le Moyne College next June.
