ERIC MACCAULL NAMED LE MOYNE COLLEGE DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL SUPPORT SERVICES

Syracuse, N.Y. – Le Moyne College Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Matt Bassett announced today the hiring of Eric MacCaull as Director of Internal Support Services. As a member of the Athletic Department leadership team, MacCaull will oversee game management, athletic facility planning, the equipment room and serve as the athletic department liaison with campus events.

MacCaull leaves the sidelines after spending the previous five years as an assistant coach for the Le Moyne men’s lacrosse team. MacCaull helped direct an offense that ranked in the top-10 nationally in scoring offense each of his five years, with the 2006 and 2007 teams capturing the Division II National Championship. MacCaull also served as an assistant for the 2000-2002 seasons. Prior to returning to Le Moyne in 2005, MacCaull served as an assistant coach at his alma mater for the 2004-05 academic year. Following his departure from Le Moyne in 2002, MacCaull served as a specialty leasing representative for Pyramid Management Company for 10 months and as a team and corporate account executive for Perfect Screen Printers Inc. from June 2003 to December 2004. During his first tenure with the Dolphins, MacCaull also was a marketing representative for Xerographic Solutions Inc.

MacCaull, a 1999 Ithaca College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Business, replaces Pete Hoy, who left to become the head baseball coach at St. Lawrence University in July. While at Ithaca, MacCaull was an All-America selection as a junior and senior, as well as team captain, MVP and Leadership Award recipient in his final collegiate season.
