TAMPA, FL – The College of Saint Rose women’s soccer team ran into formidable scoring machine in its first “Final Four” appearance in school history this evening as the University of West Florida upended the Golden Knights 4-0 in the national semifinals of the 2008 Women’s College Soccer Championships at Pepin Stadium.

ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose cheerleading team will be collecting canned goods during Saturday’s Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader versus Saint Michael’s College. The squad will subsequently pass along the donations to the less fortunate during this holiday season.

ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose garnered its sixth NCAA Tournament bid within the past seven years in early November. On Thursday, the Golden Knights will be making their first “Final Four” appearance throughout their 18-year NCAA Division II era against the University of West Florida with a chance to play in the national championship match on the line. Thursday’s contest will be played at Pepin Stadium on the campus of the University of Tampa at 7:00 pm.

WEST CHESTER, PA – Sophomore midfielder Amanda Deck broke a 2-2 tie with just over 10 minutes remaining to propel The College of Saint Rose women’s soccer team to a 3-2 victory in a national quarterfinal contest in the 2008 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship this afternoon at Farrell Field on the campus of West Chester University. The win allowed the Golden Knights to punch their ticket to the “Final Four” in Tampa, Florida where they will meet second-ranked West Florida (22-0-1) on Thursday, December 4.
