COREY O’NEILL BLASTS THREE HOME RUNS TO LEAD LE MOYNE TO A 15-10 VICTORY OVER RIDER.

SYRACUSE, NY - Junior Corey O’Neill tied a program record with three home runs and drove in seven runs as the Dolphins completed a three game sweep of Rider with a 15-10 win at Dick Rockwell Field on Sunday. With the victory the Dolphins improve to 28-20 on the season. Rider falls to 25-24. [more]

DOLPHINS DROP 2-0 DECISION TO NEW HAVEN, ‘PHINS WRAP UP SEASON AT 46-11

BEAULAC TOSSES NO-HITTER AS DOLPHINS TAKE TWO FROM RIDER

SYRACUSE, NY – Junior Eric Beaulac tossed the program’s fifth individual no-hitter as the Dolphins blanked Rider 1-0 in game one of a doubleheader. In game two, Le Moyne pushed across eight runs in the bottom of the sixth in taking the second game 8-3. The Dolphins improve to 27-20 on the season as Rider falls to 25-23. [more]

C.W. POST RALLIES TO DEFEAT LE MOYNE 4-3 IN DAY FOUR OF NCAA REGIONAL.

BROOKVILLE, NY – The C.W. Post Pioneers rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Le Moyne 4-3 on day four of the NCAA Regional. The loss drops the Dolphins to the loser’s bracket as they will face New Haven on Sunday at 11:00 AM. [more]

DOLPHINS ROLL PAST BRYANT 9-1 IN NCAA REGIONALS

BROOKVILLE, NY – The Le Moyne College softball advances in the winner’s bracket of the NCAA Northeast Regional with a 9-1 victory over sixth seeded Bryant Bulldogs on Thursday. The Dolphins (45-9) were sparked by Caitlin O’Neill’s two-out, two-run double in the fifth inning in defeating the Bulldogs (30-15) via the mercy rule. [more]

MARTINS & TESORI PLACE IN A TIE FOR 26TH & 31ST RESPECTIVELY AT NCAA SUPER REGIONALS.

MIDDLETOWN, DE – Competing as individuals in the 2008 NCAA East/Northeast Super Regionals, Le Moyne’s Tim Martins and Joe Tesori wrapped up their tournament on Wednesday at the Back Creek Golf Course. With a three-day score of 240 (+27), Martins placed in a tie for 26th overall. Senior Joe Tesori was one shot back at 241 (+28), good enough for tie for 31st. [more]

REED’S HOME RUN PROPELS THE DOLPHINS PAST NYIT IN FIRST ROUND OF NCAA REGIONAL

BROOKVILLE, NY – Senior Sarah Reed connected for a fifth inning home run to lead the Dolphins past NYIT in the first game of the NCAA Regional on the C.W. Post campus. Freshman Jenna Vanacore picked up the win in the circle as Le Moyne improved their record to 45-9 on the season. NYIT falls to 29-17 and drops into the loser’s bracket. [more]
