Following four seasons as Head Coach at Wells College, Mike Paolini rejoins the Le Moyne Soccer coaching staff. During his time at Wells College, Paolini guided the Men's Soccer team to a fourth place finish in their first year in the NEAC and to the playoffs in only their second year of existence. Paolini, who brings eight years of collegiate coaching experience to the sidelines, was the Assistant Men's Soccer coach at Le Moyne from 2001-2004.
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Paolini has been coaching and developing youth players of all ages since 2000. Beginning in 2001, Paolini has successfully built Poa's Soccer School as Director of Operations and founder. The 2007 New York State West Coach of the Year has coached multiple youth soccer teams including the two time State Cup Champions, EUSA U15 girls.
Paolini is a 1999 graduate of Plattsburgh State University where
he was a four year starter and First Team All-SUNYAC. In his
senior season, Paolini was elected All-American and team MVP.
Following his career at Plattsburgh, Paolini participated in the
USL A-League Rochester Raging Rhinos training camp and then went on
to sign with the USL New Hampshire Phantoms in 2000 and 2002.
