In just two seasons as the head women's soccer coach at Le Moyne College, Jimmy Riverso has already made his mark on the program. Riverso, a former standout on the Le Moyne men's soccer team, served as the program's top assistant for the 2003-05 seasons.

In his first season, Riverso guided a young team to its first Northeast-10 Conference tournament appearance since 2000. The Dolphins posted an 8-8-1 record overall and went 6-7-1 in the Northeast-10 Conference. Under Riverso's direction, freshman striker Christina Harrison became the program's first all-Northeast-10 Conference first team selection. The Dolphins were 6-2-1 at home in 2006.

In 2007, Riverso led the Dolphins to their first winning season since 2000. Riverso's squad opened the year with four consecutive victories, yielding only two goals. After jumping out to a 7-2 start, including a 4-2 record in Northeast-10 Conference action, Le Moyne finished its season 9-8-1, 5-8-1 in conference play.

In addition to their success on the field, the Dolphins have been honored in 2006 and 2007 with the Northeast-10 Conference Sportsmanship Award. Additionally, four Le Moyne women's soccer student-athletes received NE-10 All-Academic honors in ‘07.

In addition to his three seasons with the Dolphins, Riverso has spent the last four years as a staff coach with the Syracuse Football Club. He also served as the head coach for the Bishop Ludden modified boy's team for the 2002 season.

Riverso put together a distinguished playing career with the Dolphins. A four-year letter winner, Riverso was named all-region and second-team all-Northeast-10 Conference in 2000 and 2001. He served as a team captain in his senior season. The Dolphins won 11 games in his final season, sparking a program-record streak of five consecutive seasons of double-digit wins under head coach Tom Bonus. Riverso played his high school soccer at Christian Brothers Academy.

Before returning to his alma mater, Riverso began his professional career as a case manager for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program at P.E.A.C.E. Inc.

Riverso graduated from Le Moyne College with a degree in Sociology in 2002 and received his Masters Degree in Education from Le Moyne in 2005. He currently holds a NSCAA National diploma.
