Kurt Swygert joined the Le Moyne softball staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach in August 2009. A history major, Swygert received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tabor College (Hillsboro, Kan.) in 2009. Swygert was a two-year starter on the baseball team at Tabor after transferring from Atlanta Christian College, where he played one season. A catcher, pitcher and first baseman at Tabor, Swygert threw 29.1 innings as a senior and compiled a 2-2 record and an 8.59 earned run average, while striking out 10 batters. As a junior, Swygert made 29 at-bats, drove in five runs and scored twice.

Swygert is pursuing a Master's degree in General Education.
