Dear Le Moyne College Athletics Community:
I hope this writing finds you well as the final days of summer
begin to creep closer and closer to the early days of fall. I
wanted to share with you a couple of very special announcements for
us here in the Department of Athletics at Le Moyne. One of those
announcements is about an event that has just taken place here on
the Heights.
August 25, 2009 represented an historic day when the college broke
ground on a much anticipated state-of-the-art Turf Field Complex.
With a completion date scheduled for Spring 2010, this Complex is a
symbol of the many great things that are happening here in Le Moyne
Athletics. You can view the video of the ceremony, and follow the

It is a very exciting time to be part of the Dolphin family!

PLEASE JOIN US for Le
Moyne Athletics Homecoming Weekend 2009! Beginning Friday
September 25, thru Sunday the 27th, we have created an incredible
weekend of activities including alumni games, receptions, home
varsity competitions, and the highlight of the weekend - The Annual
Gold Wave Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The ceremony will be
held on Saturday, September 26 beginning at 7pm. Come and celebrate
this year's induction class of Carol Welch Jones (1993, Softball
and Basketball), Shane Lynch (honorary inductee, Men's Lacrosse),
Dickie Woodridge (1994, Men's Baseball). The ceremony will be
followed by a reception where everyone taking part in any, or all,
of the weekend activities can gather together in one central
location for a night of food, fun, music, drinks and memories. The
reception will be a complete "athletic family" gathering.
Please consider joining your
classmates for what is sure to be an unforgettable weekend. I look
forward to seeing you here on the Heights for Athletic Homecoming
Weekend 2009!

As part of Le Moyne College's Family Weekend, Le Moyne Athletics
Homecoming is an exciting three-day weekend that combines the rich
tradition of Le Moyne Athletics with plenty of on-campus
athletic activities. Open to all alumni, students, family and
supporters, Homecoming weekend will feature volleyball and women's
soccer home games as well as numerous alumni games and
scrimmages.
Highlighting the weekend will be The 2009 Gold Wave
Hall of Fame Induction ceremony as Carol Welch Jones '93,
Dickie Woodridge '93 and Shane Lynce will be
inducted into Le Moyne most distinguished group. Click
