SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Interest and demand for Le Moyne College Athletics continues to soar as evident by the latest record-setting traffic number from, the official website of Le Moyne College Athletics.  In 2012-13 (August-July), over 1.4 million visitors logged on to the online home of the Dolphins and clicked on over 7.4 million pages.

Le Moyne began tracking traffic records in 2005-06 and has set new records each year. Since that time, traffic has increased by 132% to its current mark today. In the last 12 months, traffic to has increased by 12%.

Not only has Le Moyne seen growth in website traffic, but in social media as well. Both the official Facebook (/Le Moyne Dolphins) and Twitter (@LeMoyneDolphins) pages of Le Moyne Athletics have seen double-digit growth in traffic and followers over the last year. Demand of social media content has grown to the point where a number of individual programs have developed team pages to provide greater access and insight into their program.

"As we continue to enhance and extend the Le Moyne brand to our fans, friend and alumni, our online presence plays a key role," said Matt Bassett, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics. "While are certainly proud of our online presentation today, we can't help but be excited for what is on the horizon for our digital communications."

Looking forward to 2013-14, Le Moyne Athletics will continue to grow its digital platforms with increased focus on video and feature stories. Further details on this new initiative will be announced in the coming weeks.
