LEMOYNEDOLPHINS.TV ENHANCES VIDEO BROADCASTS TO HIGH DEFINITION
Syracuse, N.Y. - The Le Moyne College Athletic Department announced on Friday, through a partnership with Boston-based Pack Network, that all games broadcast on www.LeMoyneDolphins.tv this year will be produced and streamed live in high definition. In addition to an enhanced broadcast, fans will now be able to watch games on-the-go via their iPad or iPhone.
"When we set out four years ago developing this service, we strived to provide a cutting-edge viewing experience for all our fans, friends and alumni," said Matt Bassett, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics. "Demand for digital content of Le Moyne Athletics has never been higher and we are proud to be on the industry forefront in delivering our events in high definition."
Since launching in November 2008, over 300 games have been streamed live on www.LeMoyneDolphins.tv, including Northeast-10 Conference and NCAA Tournament games. Annually, over 70 games are produced utilizing students looking to develop their video broadcasting skills.
Live productions will continue to feature multiple camera angles and dynamic graphics, in addition to play-by-play commentary. A twenty-five game fall broadcast schedule is now available and includes all men's and women's home soccer games as well as eight volleyball matches. Moving to the winter season and continuing to spring, all home basketball and lacrosse games, as well as select baseball and softball games, are scheduled to be broadcast.
The Le Moyne All-Access Package, available for $59.95, provides subscribers the opportunity to watch every live broadcast and access to an extensive on-demand archive. Single game subscriptions are also available to watch events live for $6.95.
The first game to be produced in high definition will be on Saturday, September 1st when the men's soccer team hosts Dowling College at 1:00 p.m. at the Athletic Turf Complex.
