Le Moyne College to introduce new Director of Athletics at 2:30 p.m. press conference on Saturday

LE MOYNE COLLEGE TO INTRODUCE NEW DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS IN A SATURDAY 2:30 P.M. PRESS CONFERENCE

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Le Moyne College will introduce its new Director of Athletics in a 2:30 p.m. press conference on Saturday, December 2. The press conference will take place in the Daniel Biasone Memorial Room, located in the Anthony Henninger Athletic Center.

Current Le Moyne College Director of Athletics Dick Rockwell has announced his retirement from the position, effective June 30, 2007. He has spent 40 years at the college, 27 as the college's baseball coach, and served as the Director of Athletics since 1990. He has overseen the program in a period of unmatched athletics success with 21 NCAA berths and two national championships since the 2001-02 academic year.

The 2:30 p.m. press conference has been scheduled to take place between the Le Moyne College men's and women's basketball Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader against Saint Anselm College. The women's game tips off at 1 p.m. and the men will play at 3 p.m.
