REED’S OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION LEADS TO NORTHEAST-10
CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Outfielder Sarah Reed earned
Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week honors for March 10
after a torrid offensive start at the Rebel Spring Invitational.
The senior from Jamesville, N.Y. batted .415 and drove in 15 runs
on 17 hits in a 6-6 week for Le Moyne.
Twelve games into the season, Reed paces Le Moyne in batting
average (.415), slugging percentage (.585), hits (17), runs batted
in (15), doubles (5) and triples (1). In addition, she scored eight
runs and stole one base during the Le Moyne’s Florida action.
In the circle, Reed picked up two wins and fanned 14 hitters.
Le Moyne travels to Dowling for a March 22 doubleheader slated for
noon. The Dolphins remain on the road for five doubleheaders until
opening up the home portion of their schedule April 5 at 1 p.m.
